Warranty Coverage – Eigen Engines

At Eigen Engines, we stand behind the quality of our BMW engines and drivetrain components. To ensure customer satisfaction and product reliability, we provide a 12 month warranty on eligible engines and transmissions sold through our website.

Engine and Transmission Warranty

All Used and Rebuilt BMW Engines

Covered by a 12 month warranty from the date of delivery.

Performance BMW Engines

Including turbocharged, M Series, and other performance BMW engines. Covered by the same 12 month warranty.

Transmissions

Both manual and automatic transmissions are covered by a 12 month warranty unless otherwise stated in the product description.

Installation by a qualified mechanic is strongly recommended. Failure to follow professional installation procedures may void the warranty.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, please provide:

A detailed written description of the issue.
Clear photographs showing the problem.
A copy of the installation invoice from the workshop or mechanic.
Any diagnostic reports or supporting documentation available.

Once the claim has been reviewed and verified, we will proceed in accordance with the warranty terms, which may include repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

Returned items must be complete, fully assembled, and in the same condition as originally supplied, including all original components.

Returns

If a product must be returned under warranty:

Retain all original parts removed during installation.
Return the product in the same condition as received.
Include all components supplied with the engine or transmission.
Follow the return instructions provided by our support team.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

Improper installation or maintenance.
Overheating, oil starvation, or lubrication related failures.
Racing, competition, or off road use unless specifically agreed in writing.
Damage caused by external components, including turbochargers, cooling systems, fuel systems, ECUs, or ancillary parts.
Engines or transmissions that have been modified, dismantled, or tampered with after delivery.
